The Metuchen Recreation Commission provides residents with diversified opportunities for their leisure and cultural activities, special events, and programs that encourage relaxation, enjoyment, cultural enrichment, and learning as well as opportunities for community involvement. The Recreation Commission is operated under the authority established in NJSA 40:12

Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center, 15 Center Street
