REGISTRAR OF VITAL STATISTICS

The Registrar of Vital Statistics handles marriage licenses and birth and death certificates. She also issues dog and cat licenses. Borough ordinances mandate that all dogs and cats over 7 months old have a license. These licenses expire January 31st of each year. Any person obtaining a license after February 28th will be charged a late fee of $5.00. Residents are reminded not to feed or harbor stray cats unless they plan to claim them -- as they will be considered responsible for licensing or removal of the animal.
