Please call Cathy Ostermueller at the Senior Center (732) 632-8524 for more information regarding the following services for Seniors in Metuchen:

1)      Senior Citizen Help List: Students from Metuchen High School who are available for leaf raking, snow removal and other small jobs.

2)      Senior Citizen Care List: Members of the community who work as daily and/or overnight care-givers.

The Metuchen Senior Center is a drop-in facility for citizens aged 60 and over. A full range of services is offered, including recreation, information and referral, health screening, counseling and income tax preparation. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 2:30pm and is staffed by Cathy Ostermueller, Director.

Minibus transportation is available for Borough residents aged 60 and over. Door-to-door service is provided free of charge to medical appointments, shopping, nutrition services and club meetings. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance when transportation is needed; reservations are made by calling 632-8525 between 9:00am and 2:00pm.
