Interactive Marketing Workshops for Metuchen Based Businesses – the Metuchen Downtown Alliance (MDA) is offering a series of three workshops designed to help Metuchen based businesses create and execute marketing strategies and tactics to improve their business performance. The workshops are free through a grant from SCORE and MDA member businesses who attend all 3 workshops are eligible to compete for matching grants to help implement their marketing strategies. Middlesex Water Company Installing Exterior Meter Pits in Metuchen – many residents have asked about the white, plastic containers being installed on numerous streets in Metuchen. Following a Borough engineer’s inspection on 1/30/18, safety deficiencies were discovered at the Graham Avenue “Kahn’s Crossing” pedestrian bridge over the Greenway. As a result, the bridge is closed. Once all safety concerns are addressed, the Borough will reopen the bridge. Updates will be posted once more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Tuesday & Thursday 8:00am-1:00pm. Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm. Closed Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife says you should report bear damage, nuisance behavior or aggressive bears to their Wildlife Control Unit at (908) 735-8793. During evenings and weekends, residents should call the local police department or the DEP Hotline at 877-WARN-DEP (877927-6337).
