Middlesex County is celebrating the birthdays for residents who are 90+ years old on May 17th with a FREE luncheon. Pre-registration is required so please read the flier and contact Middlesex County Department on Aging or the Metuchen Senior Center at seniorcenter@metuchen.com

Bike_Rodeo
Recreation along with Middlesex County's Keep Middlesex Moving, Metuchen Police, EMS & Fire will have a bike safety program on Saturday, May 4th at Halsey Parking Lot, 10am-12pm. Minor bike repairs, helmet fittings, safety tips, handouts, bike exchange, and snacks.
Fishing_Derby
Bring the kids out for a fun morning of fishing at Tommy's Pond. The Department of Wildlife & Fishing has some loaner poles to use for the day, and information fliers for the kids. Recreation, MPD, MFD, and EMS will provide a fun and safe fishing environment on May 18th at 9am. This is a BYOB Event - Bring Your Own Bait!!!

Bowling_Buddies
The Bowling Buddies, formerly known as the Mother Son Bowl has incorporated a name change, yet is the same all-inclusive bowling event that has been offered for decades by the Recreation Department and the spirit of the event remains as it always has.  The nature of the Bowling event is for a parent/chaperone to bring their child(ren) to bowl with other friends. The Bowling Fun will be Sunday, April 28th at Majestic Lanes. Registration is now open.
