Intergenerational Game Day!
Sunday, September 13
2PM-4PM
Are you an adult who is curious about video games? Perhaps you may want to learn how to play tennis, to bowl, or golf without leaving the great indoors? Then the Wii is the perfect game system for you because it's fun, and you’ll actually be getting in some exercise while playing a virtual game.
On Sunday afternoon, September 13, from 2-4 PM, eight Metuchen teens will be on hand at the Metuchen Library to teach curious adults, how to use the Wii.
You’ll choose from sports games that exercise the body and games that exercise the brain like Big Brain Academy, Deal or No Deal, and Trivial Pursuits.
The kids will be teaching adults one on one, so it is best for you to register for the program by calling the Library at 732-632-8526. Coffee and light refreshments will be served, compliments of the Friends of the Library.
This program is a community service project. Eight Metuchen teens spent time this summer planning the Intergenerational Game Day and practicing to train adults to use the Wii.
