The Metuchen Office of Emergency Management has implemented an automated system known as Reverse 9-1-1 that calls homes and businesses to notify them about serious emergencies.
Our database contains every direct dial landline telephone number in Metuchen, but not cell phones or some Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone numbers (e.g. Skype, Google). If you use this form to provide your cell and/or VOIP phone numbers with your address, it will ensure that you receive emergency notifications. We may also ask you to take specific actions to protect your safety during an emergency.
Uses for Reverse 9-1-1 may include the following:

• Missing Person Alerts
• Emergency Evacuations
• Local Security & Crime Alerts
• Weather Emergencies
• Hazardous Materials Incidents
