MEtv is the Borough of Metuchen’s municipal access television station. MEtv is dedicated to meeting the community’s interests in government affairs, the arts, education, community events, and a diverse mix of informational programs.

MEtv airs council and board of education meetings live which reair each week.

MEtv also operates a state of the art bulletin board which provides residents with information about events, meetings, and public notices of interest to the community.

MEtv’s bulletin Board also provides vital information specific to the community in the event of an emergency.

MEtv is a founding member of the Jersey Access Group (www.jagonline.org) which is a forum for exchanging information that promotes quality operations for New Jersey’s public, education, and government (PEG) television stations for the purpose of educating and informing the public about their communities.

MEtv is also a member of the Alliance for Community Media (www.ourchannel.org) which is dedicated to promoting legislation and regulation which supports PEG access. To achieve this, the Alliance works with Congress, state legislatures, the Federal Communications Commission, state public utilities commissions, and coalition partners and brings suits when necessary in courts around the country.

MEtv is member of ACM’s Mid-Atlantic Region (www.acmmar.org) which deals with issues specific to a seven state area.
